Never heard the BBKing fillmore have ta check it out. But you got me thinkin and I had to listen to Bobby Bland & BB King Together Again Live. The thrill is gone>aint gonna be the first to cry. have not pulled this out in years so damn funky, not to mention they pull a chick out of the audience and she sings.

you want to talk about blues and getting people all sweaty fromm dancing in the aisles.The SAM and DAVE show at the Fillmore East was such a success that BG booked many more R and B groups after that and the list was a long one .Albert King .BB KING Sony Terry and Brownie McBEE,Freddy King,Sly and the Family STONE and many many more black acts who had the place jumping. True off topic of best album but I just had to get that out there...

Saw bb in 84 for the first of many times, but the last time I saw him, maybe 2009, was the best by far.

Bobby Blue Bland, i have only seen him once, he was making some odd/interesting gutteral throat sounds to the crowds delight.

Thats awesome that he can still bring it. Think I may have seen that SRV 83 on DVD the other day, had it in my hand but put it down.
